I think it's a good thing my computer arrived and I'm going home this weekend. My laptop died Sunday night, as its boot tree appears to be corrupted and so now the computer will not start up. All the data is there -- it just can't start up to access the data.
I am so tired of computers right now.
So I'm going home tomorrow after my midterm, and I get to:
a. Reinstall Panther onto my laptop
b. Setup and configure my new computer
c. Install Office, Rome TW, Starcraft and Brood War, Firefox, Photoshop, Warcraft III and The Frozen Throne, and about half a dozen other programs
d. Make sure everything works
e. Run a ridiculously graphics-intensive program to laugh at how amazing the system is
f. Gloat to friends
Point f is very important, I think.
